System for body armour.

This was a job we did for a manufacturer of body armour for the armed forces.  The task involved helping our client with a new mechanism for the jacket. (Due to confidentiality considerations, the photo above does not show the actual armour that we worked on.)

The purpose of the mechanism is to allow the rapid removal of bulky body armour by a single release cord. This would allow increased freedom of movement for the soldier, easier movement of an injured soldier, or quick access to medical aid.
